Cost of Attendance

$228 : In-state cost per credit hour

Students who are legal Iowa residents
Dependents of parents/guardians who are state residents.
Graduates of an in-state high school or GED program
Active-duty military members stationed in the state (and sometimes their spouses/dependents).
Veterans who meet state residency or service-related criteria.

$255 : Out-of-state cost per credit hour

Students whose permanent residence is outside the state of Iowa and who have not met residency requirements.
International students on student visas.
Students who recently moved to the state but have not yet met the residency timeline.
Dependents of parents/guardians who reside in another state.
