IHCC has transfer agreements with all three state universities and many regional private colleges that guarantee you’ll be admitted as a junior. If you’re looking at other schools, we’ll connect you with their counselors to make sure you’re on course.

Math & Science: 20 hours (at least 1 course in each)
Electives: 4 hours from the above divisions

Other Requirements

You must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in all courses.
Foreign language requirements may be completed at IHCC or at your transfer school.

Earn your BSN with just one additional year.

It’s called the RN to BSN 3+1 Articulation Agreement, and it’s a seamless transfer from Indian Hills to the University of Iowa School of Nursing.

After completing the three-year registered nursing program at IHCC, you’ll take just one year of classes at Iowa to earn your bachelor’s degree.

Transferring to Indian Hills Community College

Interested in transferring some previous college credits to a program at IHCC? We accept credits from other regionally accredited, post-secondary institutions. If you have relevant work credentials or training, you can turn those learning experiences into college credits as well.
