Are you feeling the pressure to choose a program that you might not enjoy? Worried that your choice might not lead to a “good” job?  Let’s face it, there are a lot of things to consider when choosing a major!  So you know that you need a little more time to learn about your interests before choosing just one, and that’s okay, you’re not alone! Nationally, “undecided” or “undeclared” is the most popular college major, and at least 70 percent of all college students change their major at least once during their academic career. So with more than 70 academic programs to choose from at Indian Hills, there’s a lot to explore.  But our experienced academic advisors will help you find your way.  As a student who is "undecided, you will take a combination of general education and elective courses that will apply towards your degree once you do decide on a major. Your career possibilities following this program will depend entirely on your interests and choice of major when you transfer to a four-year college after graduation.

The Undecided Transfer Program may by a good fit for you if:

  • You have too many interests to choose just one program
  • You want to explore new areas before you decide on a program
  • You are talented at a wide variety of things
