College is a big investment, but Indian Hills Community College has one of the lowest tuition rates in the state of Iowa, and you don’t have to pay for it by yourself. We offer various scholarships to help you pay for a great education using fewer of your own dollars.
Indian Hills Community College operates on a quarter system, offering four terms in a 12-month period (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer). International students (F–1 and M-1 Visas) applying for admission to Indian Hills Community College will have the following estimated costs for an academic year (3 terms or 9 months).
Please note: Additional housing charges will be added to your student account if you stay in the residence hall during college breaks (winter break, spring break, early summer break, and late summer break), as classes are not in session. Please contact Housing for specific information and details.

*All costs are estimated. Tuition is charged on a per credit-hour basis, and tuition rates are determined by the IHCC Board of Trustees each Summer. Note that some specific academic programs require year-round enrollment (enrollment during the Summer term) and/or additional fees for the program will be required. **All currently registered F1 and M1 international students are required to enroll in the Indian Hills Community College Mandatory International Student Health Insurance Program This health insurance program is provided through GeoBlue. More information will be available upon acceptance to the college.
