Children In Between
Changes in family structure through the dissolution of marriage, custody modifications or remarriages, are difficult experiences for a child. This class, also known as Children in the Middle, will provide education and affirmation for parents making the primary focus be on the children's needs at all ages.
Indian Hills Community College is an approved agency to satisfy the mandatory parent counseling required pursuant to section 598.19A of the Code of Iowa. This course will meet the requirements needed. BRING A PEN TO WRITE WITH TO CLASS!

Drinking Drivers
IHCC is approved by the Department of Education to offer Driving Under the Influence (DUI) classes for persons charged with drunk driving (OWI) and convicted of driving while under the influence of alcohol. The purpose of the program is to teach participants facts about alcohol use and abuse, and through education to encourage low risk choices in the use of alcohol. The Iowa Department of Education approved the PRI Prime for Life Risk Reduction Curriculum, which is based on national research. BRING A PEN TO WRITE WITH TO CLASS!

Driver Improvement
This class is for someone that has either received three moving traffic convictions during a 12-month period, have been convicted of a serious violation (25 miles per hour or more above the posted speed limit), or have been required to attend by order of the Driver Improvement Hearing Officer of the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT). All classes are held every other month on the Ottumwa Campus in the Advanced Technology Center, Room: 110. BRING A PEN TO WRITE AND A MASK TO CLASS!
Tuition $105 ($125 if you’ve previously re-scheduled).

Continuing Education Course Refund Policy:
In order to qualify for a refund, you must cancel your registration at least 3 business days prior to course start. If you have not prepaid for the class, charges will be assessed to your account if you do not cancel within the required timeframe or if you do not show up for the class you will be charged. Exceptions will be made only in extreme circumstances. To cancel a registration, call us at 1-800-346-4413.
