Our Student Blogger, Emma!!
Hi I'm Emma Durflinger! I am 20 years old, and a sophomore at Indian Hills Community College working to get my A.A. and my A.A.S in Interactive Media Technologies. I’m from Van Meter, Iowa. I grew up there with my parents, and 3 younger siblings. I found my love for web design my senior year at Van Meter High School when I was doing the Interactive Media Design course in the Aspiring Professional Experience (APEX) program through Waukee High School.

I have always been a very involved and outgoing person. In high school I participated in almost every sport my school had to offer, every performing arts program, and was also a part of our individual speech team. Now I am the VP on the student senate and head RA in Oak Hall. I’ve always loved meeting new people and building new friendships. I am never scared to take on a new challenge and I like to stay busy.
