Advance Tanker Training
Our two-week course will prepare each student with the knowledge and skills needed to safely haul a loaded tanker. Each student will receive one-on-one training from our Instructors. This course is set up to offer a minimum of 60 hours behind the wheel driving, with an additional 20 hours split between pre-trip, classroom, and some simulator training.
Prior to enrolling in our Advanced CDL Training program students will be subject to a pre-course driving assessment. The assessment will measure the potential student’s ability to demonstrate a safety-conscious mindset needed to haul a loaded tanker.
During this one-on-one training, each student will be subject to daily assessment by their Instructor with constructive corrective action to follow and uphold the standard of safety the industry deserves. Students will receive a certificate upon completion.
The driving point behind this training is to prepare each student for their new career behind the wheel with a tank of liquid.
Indian Hills Commercial Driver programs consistently prove to produce safe, knowledgeable, and professionally capable Drivers. Class B CDL Passenger/School Bus Endorsement
There is a real need for Professional Drivers in the Passenger and School Bus industry. If you take safety seriously, are looking for a career change and to earn some extra money, this might be the job for you! There are opportunities for both full and part-time drivers.
CDL Passenger Endorsement is required for any commercial vehicle that transports 16 or more passengers, including the driver. This would include delivery vehicles, motor coaches, and public service motor vehicles such as school buses. School bus drivers must have a School Bus Endorsement in addition to the Passenger Endorsement.
During our course, students will learn the theory, as well as the skills necessary to safely drive school and other passenger buses in many situations and environments. At the conclusion of the course, the DOT skills test will be administered onsite, and upon passing, students will be eligible to obtain a Class ‘B’ Commercial Driver’s license, carrying the Passenger Endorsement.
On the first day of class, students will be required to present a certified copy of their MVR (Motor Vehicle Record), Commercial Learner’s Permit, school bus/passenger permits (depending on which endorsements they are looking to obtain), and a current DOT physical. Students must submit to a drug screen that will be administered during the course.
Cost: $950.00
Each class series is 8 sessions.
