"The Future Ready Iowa Last Dollar Scholarship has been such an immense blessing to me, and my family. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I did not attend college immediately following high school. For the past 24 years, it has been a dream of mine to go to college and earn a degree in the medical field. I had been saving money to pay for college, but didn't have the full tuition amount, nor enough money saved to buy books. When I learned that my tuition this year would be completely covered, I cried tears of joy. I am beyond grateful for this opportunity I've been given. I am now able to devote all of my time and energy to my school work, without the stress of carrying the financial burden. I've even made the Dean's list for my first 2 terms! Thank you SO much!"
