Course Information
CDL Passenger Endorsement is required for any commercial vehicle transporting 16 or more passengers, including the driver. This includes delivery vehicles, motor coaches, and public service vehicles like school buses. School bus drivers must have a School Bus Endorsement in addition to the Passenger Endorsement.
During our course, students will learn the theory and skills necessary to safely drive school and other passenger buses in many situations and environments. At the conclusion of the course, the DOT skills test will be administered onsite, and upon passing, students will be eligible to obtain a Class ‘B’ Commercial Driver’s license, carrying the Passenger Endorsement.
On the first day of class, students will be required to present a certified copy of
their MVR (Motor Vehicle Record), Commercial Learner’s Permit, school bus/passenger
permits (depending on which endorsements they want to obtain), and a current DOT physical.
