Indian Hills Community College presents ...
Minneapolis Fine Arts Tour
October 24-26, 2008
Travel with the IHCC Fine Arts Department to Minneapolis this fall. Minneapolis is a place where sophisticated theatre, world class architecture and museums mingle with fun attractions and tax-free shopping. Frommer's Travel Guidebook ranks Minneapolis among the 12 most unique and enticing destinations for 2007!
Each day of the tour will include time exploring Minnesota's museums, including the Minnesota Institute of Arts and the Walker Art Institute. Friday will conclude with a performance at the newly constructed Guthrie Theater and Saturday will conclude with a performance in the historic Hennepin Theatre District. There will also be time to explore the Mall of America, the nation's largest entertainment and shopping complex.
Your tour escorts will be David Johnson, Mark McWhorter and Jennifer Boyenga.
You can earn up to two college credits during this trip just by completing the assignments, which will be explained during the bus ride to Minneapolis. Each participant will register for at least one course at IHCC:
