VA Education Benefit Payment Rates

Generally, VA education payment rates are determined each October 1, the beginning of the Federal fiscal year. The links below are to the VA's web sites. Unless noted otherwise, all rates shown are effective October 1, 2005.

Chapter 32 - There are not specific rate tables for Chapter 32. Payments are based on the amount of the veteran's contributions plus additional contribution by the Department of Defense (called "kickers") divided by the number of months of contributions, which cannot exceed 36 months.
