CHAMPVA Certification
To remain eligible for CHAMPVA benefits, a dependent child over the age of 18 must be certified as a full-time student. It is important that you notify the Veterans Affairs Office of your eligibility for CHAMPVA benefits. The Veterans Affairs Office will then send a letter certifying your full-time status to the VA Health Care Administration each term of your enrollment and a copy of the letter will be kept in your file, if any, in the Veterans Affairs Office.
Remember, to maintain CHAMPVA eligibility, you must remain a full-time student.
Changes of Address
If you change your address, it is vital that you notify the Health Care Administration. Send your new address, along with your VA file number to: CHAMPVA, PO Box 65023, Denver, CO 80206.
