As employers, we know we need to make people smarter faster. Sometimes it's clear what new skills and knowledge are needed and sometimes it isn't so clear. Indian Hills Business and Industry Resource Center can help you identify exactly what your training needs are. We can help you analyze existing jobs for skills needed now and in the future. We can assess the skills and knowledge of current employees and job applicants. We can help you identify exactly who needs what training, and then we can develop and deliver programs to specifically meet those training needs.
We use a variety of assessment tools to gather this information, including the nationally-normed CASAS assessment for the basic skills of reading, math, and critical thinking; the Skillcraft assessment for the maintenance and construction skill trades; and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, to name just a few.
