Important Notices

Network Outage: Saturday, September 13, 9:30a t0 Noon

Due to an upgrade to the college's Internet cicuit — which will result in faster Internet access — there will be a network outage on Saturday, September 13, from 9:30a to Noon. This includes: the college website, MyHills, WebAdvisor, Student WebMail, and campus Internet access (wireless and wired). (Employees: On-Campus Colleague and on-campus network drive access should function as normal.)

All Students, Faculty, and Staff: Change Passwords

On Wednesday, August 13, Student Webmail addresses changed from “@ihcc.cc” to the “@stu.indianhills.edu” ending. To synchronize the passwords for this change, the passwords for WebAdvisor, MyHills, and Student WebMail were reset for ALL STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES to their seven-digit student number or employee number + “Az” at the end (for example, if your number is 0345678, your new password would be 0345678Az).

ALL STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES (Full- and Part-Time): Using the instructions above, please log in to WebAdvisor (www.indianhills.edu/webadvisor— note “Log In” link in the upper-right) and change your password (also in the upper-right menu bar), following the instructions below.

All new passwords must be between 6 and 9 characters in length, use no special characters, and contain each of the following:

  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • At least one number

Next, please confirm that your password has also been changed in MyHills, Lynda, and Student WebMail (if you are a student). If it has not, then please change it in these systems, as well.

Monday – Thursday: 7:15 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Sunday: 5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

After Hours: For emergency matters only, please use the phone number provided above. For all other matters, please use or the IT Help Desk Request Form and we will respond during our regular hours of operation.

Note: All follow-up emails from the IT Help Desk, responding to your help requests, will come from ITDIRECT System Message. Please ensure your spam filters do not block these messages.
