The Robotics/Automation Technology program includes the Electronic Technician program and will give you all the skills necessary to begin a career in the robotics field. This program prepares you to troubleshoot and repair industrial robots and integrated manufacturing work cells as used in industry. Approximately 45 percent of your training is received through actual problem solving in industrial labs. You'll learn to program automated equipment, such as robots and programmable logic controllers. A career in robotics/automation can take you down many different paths. After graduation, you will be prepared to troubleshoot and repair industrial robots and automated manufacturing work cells that are used in industry.
