Laser/Electro–Optics Technology
The Laser/Electro-Optics Technology program includes the Electronic Technician program and will give you all the skills necessary to begin a career in the lasers field. A career in lasers can take you down many different paths: design and manufacturing, materials processing, communications, medical applications, semiconductor fabrication, optical systems, electronics, military applications, sales, education, and displays. You'll spend more than 40 percent of your time in the lab, training on industrial laser systems. After graduation, you will be prepared to work in engineering support, technical sales, manufacturing, and maintenance.
