Business Specialist — Accounting
The Business Specialist — Accounting program prepares students for a career in the field of accounting. Students are introduced to the practices and theories of accounting so they can summarize, analyze, and record a variety of business transactions. Technical courses in accounting, computer applications, payroll, taxes, and commercial software allow students to seek advanced placement in an accounting department. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to perform technical accounting tasks, data input, financial reporting, financial analysis, operate business machines, and provide information to assist management in the decision making process.

Length: 6 terms (18 months)
