Focus Area: Physics
The Physics focus area provides a foundation for students interested in physics. Your courses will prepare you to use and understand facts, concepts, and theories, use various techniques and tools in the lab and in the field, use the scientific process, employ analytic and problem-solving skills, and apply your skills in real world applications. Following graduation, you can transfer for a four-year school to continue working on a bachelor's degree in physics or biological science and find employment in industry, manufacturing, computers, and education.
