Focus Area: Photography

PhotographyThe Photography focus area provides a foundation whether you are interested in transferring to a four–year institution to earn a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts/Photography or seeking employment in a studio or photography business. After graduation, you will be able to recognize and discuss changes in the development of cameras and imaging techniques, demonstrate correct photographic composition, and compare digital composition and traditional darkroom techniques. Career options include working as an assistant in the field of portrait photography, commercial photography, computer imaging, or photojournalism, or opening your own business.
