Focus Area: Accounting
If you are contemplating a career in accounting or a related field, the Accounting focus area is for you. You will be provided with an excellent foundation for transfer to a four-year college to earn a baccalaureate degree with an accounting or related business major. You will receive a broad education with special attention to the functions, theory and practice of accounting as related to contemporary society. You will have the opportunity to develop the skills, abilities, and understanding required for advanced study and a career in the accounting or finance fields.
