What Indian Hills Student Veterans are Saying...
“I was impressed with the academic advising at Indian Hills. My advisor worked closely with the VA Coordinator to help me stay on track with my degree plan. They even care about the little things. For example, one time, an advisor made a phone call to fix something on my account, just so I wouldn't have to stand in a long line. I appreciate all that Indian Hills did for me.”
—Levi Weuve, Army National Guard, Automotive Collison Technology
“I really enjoyed the Veterans events that Indian Hills held each year. I appreciated the recognition of students during Veterans Day. My fellow classmates, as well as teachers, commented about my service with the military and thanked me. I was impressed!”
—Tasha Conger, Iowa National Guard, Arts and Sciences
“I honestly felt that, had I gone to a bigger school, I would not have received the one–on–one assistance I needed. The high–quality Student Services staff, instructors, low tuition, and rock–solid aviation program made it clear that had I chosen the right school for my education.”
—Jacob Zeller–Schroeder, United States Navy, Aviation Maintenance Technology
“I appreciated the one–on–one attention I received in applying for Tuition Assistance and my GI Bill. The college I attended previously simply gave me pamphlets and instructional worksheets, and sent me on my way; I was truly overwhelmed. The staff at Indian Hills helped me succeed.”
—Mathew Geil, National Guard, Diesel Power Technology
