Online Learning

Indian Hills offers many courses online, and many other courses also use the internet as a convenient means for submitting assignments, getting handouts, taking tests, and participating in class discussions and group projects.

Online courses can be identified in each term's Schedule of Classes (PDF | Web Advisor) by the WWW listed as the course location. New online courses are being added every term.

Tuition

Tuition for all online courses is $118 per credit hour, along with a $5 per credit hour supplementary fee.

How online courses are taught

Online courses at Indian Hills are delivered through a Course Management System we call MyHills. MyHills is an easy-to-use, intuitive platform allowing instructors and students to share and submit assignments, hold class discussions, take tests - virtually anything you would do in a traditional face-to-face class.

We encourage students to work through the Computer Tutorials which demonstrate how to use the various tools in MyHills. The tutorials are available as PDF documents and as Flash Videos. Both walk you through each item in an easy-to-follow, step-by-step manner. The IT Help Desk is also available to assist you.
