CSUN Transfer

In continuing to build opportunities for students to achieve affordable pathways to a baccalaureate degree and beyond, California State University Northridge {CSUN) and Indian Hills Community College (IHCC) have created a transfer pathway to provide a guaranteed admission track if the admissions requirements are met for international students who graduate from Indian Hills with an Associate of Arts (AA) or an Associate of Science (AS) degree.


Participants Benefit in the following ways:

  • Successfully complete the Associates in Arts or Associates in Science degree in good standing with IHCC with an overall grade point average of 2.00 or higher.

  • Meet the CSU Northridge English proficiency requirement by completing ENG 105 or 106 at IHCC (or equivalent class at another accredited US institution) with a grade of C or better.

  • Meet the CSU Northridge Math proficiency requirement by completing MAT 120, 125, 140, 156, 210, or 216 at IHCC with a grade of C or better.

  • Meet the CSU Northridge Oral Communication requirement by completing SPC 112 at IHCC with a grade of C or better.

  • Submit official transcripts from all colleges attended.

  • Submit a complete CSU application for admission by the application deadline. Apply online at csumentor.edu

  • Submit the CSUN Affidavit of Financial Support and our sponsor’s bank letter or statement. The Affidavit is online at csun.edu/sites/default/files/affidavit.pdf

  • The conditions outlined in this guarantee satisfy general requirements for transfer to CSU Northridge.  Admission into competitive CSU Northridge programs is not guaranteed and will depend on specific program admission requirements.
