The Transfer Pathways Programs, for international students, is a unique partnership between IHCC and four-year institutions to provide international students with a smooth and economical path to earning their bachelor's degree after graduating from Indian Hills. See below for specific information regarding each of our current Transfer Pathway Programs.

The University of Northern Iowa offers more than 90 majors across the colleges of Business Administration, Education, Humanities, Arts, Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and graduate college. UNI has consistently been named one of the "Best in the Midwest," in the Princeton Review of Best 351 College Rankings Guide.
Mount Mercy University, located in beautiful Cedar Rapids, Iowa, offers students a fulfilling education, promising people of all backgrounds solid preparation for changing the world. Their nearly 1,900 students come from around the globe, creating a vibrant, diverse, and open minded campus community with over 37 undergraduate majors.
Coastal Carolina University located in Conway, South Carolina just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is a public comprehensive liberal arts institution which offers students 73 undergraduate programs. Coastal Carolina commits its resources to building undergraduate and graduate degree programs of national and/or regional significance in the arts and sciences, business, humanities, education, and health and human services. Coastal Carolina fully embraces its leadership role as a regional center of economic and intellectual resources, lifelong learning, cultural and recreational opportunities, and athletic programs.
Western Kentucky University, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky is nestled among the impressive hills of Kentucky. Our hilltop campus is a place of beauty and friendliness. It embraces a proud heritage and a bold, ambitious future. WKU is home to many highly ranked and nationally-recognized academic programs such as Journalism and Broadcasting, Education, Engineering, Business and our award winning speech and debate team. WKU offers more than 170 choices for undergraduate areas of study through majors, minors, associate degree programs, certificate programs, pre-professional study and areas of concentration within majors.
Flagler College is located in the nation’s oldest city of St. Augustine, Florida. Flagler has been voted one of the most beautiful colleges in Florida and is located on the coast. Students may choose form 31 majors and 36 minors that combine focused academic study with real-world experiences and community-integrated projects. Flagler offers nationally renowned and long-accredited programs such as business, education, design, fine art, psychology, communication and sport management.
Iowa Wesleyan University is located in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Iowa Wesleyan is one of the oldest four-year, coeducational, church-related liberal arts universities west of the Mississippi River. Iowa Wesleyan, offers a liberal arts foundation together with timely, career-oriented majors.
California State University, Northridge is a vibrant, diverse university community of 38,310 students and more than 4,000 faculty and staff, sited on a 356-acre campus in the heart of Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. CSUN is one of the nation’s largest single-campus universities. Cal State Northridge has a strong commitment to the educational and professional goals of students and service to the community. Cal State Northridge offers 68 Baccalaureate degrees.
Northwest Missouri State University located in Maryville, Missouri offers 127 undergraduate programs. Textbooks and a laptop computer are included in the cost of tuition and fees. Northwest Missouri State University has been ranked as the top moderately selective regional university in Missouri by US News and World Report’s list of “2016 Best Colleges”. Maryville, Missouri has been voted one of the 50 Safest College towns in the use by Safewise.
Simpson College, founded in 1860, sits on 75 acres in Indianola, Iowa and offers the best of both worlds: a nurturing academic environment that’s close to the career, internship and entertainment options available in Iowa’s capital city. Simpson offers students more than 80 majors and minors. Simpson is recognized for its quality programs and value by Peterson’s Competitive Colleges and by U.S. News and World Report. In addition, Simpson ranks among the nation’s top 100 colleges in percentage of students who study abroad, according to U.S. News and World Report. Simpson is also the summer home of internationally recognized Des Moines Metro Opera. Noted scientist George Washington Carver began his college career at Simpson in 1890.
Washington State University, founded in 1890 and located in Pullman, Washington, is one of America’s top research universities. WSU is one of just 115 U.S. colleges and universities—out of over 4,600 public and private institutions in the US—named among doctoral universities with the “highest research activity” in the Carnegie Classification (2016). WSU offers 95 undergraduate majors, 86 minors, and more than 100 in-major specializations.
Pella Christian High School and Indian Hills Community College (IHCC) have created
a transfer pathway to provide a guaranteed admission track for Pella Christian High
School international students who graduate from Pella Christian High School to transfer
to Indian Hills Community College.
Indian Hills will provide up to three $600 scholarships annually to International graduates from Pella Christian High School.
