Indian Hills Community College operates on a quarter system, offering four terms in a 12-month period (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer). International students (F–1 Visa) applying for admission to Indian Hills Community College will have the following estimated costs for an academic year (3 terms or 9 months). Please note that additional housing charges will be added to your student account if you stay in the dormitory during college breaks (winter break, spring break, early summer break, and late summer break), as classes are not in session. Please contact Housing for specific information and details.

** All costs are estimated. Tuition is based on full-time enrollment of 10 credits per term for a total of 3 terms (equal to 9 months, which is one academic year). Tuition is charged on a per-credit-hour basis, and tuition rates are determined by the Iowa Legislature each Summer. Note that specific academic programs require 4 terms of enrollment (or year-round enrollment); therefore, the estimated costs of these programs are not reflected in the total amount above. All currently registered F1 international students are required to enroll in the
Indian Hills Community College Mandatory International Student Health Insurance Program
