The Rehabilitation/Restorative Aide program prepares the certified nurse aide (CNA) to carry out rehabilitative plans of care written by a licensed physical therapist. This 65-hour course is comprised of lecture and laboratory experiences. This program meets the requirements of the state-approved curriculum. A certificate is awarded upon successful completion of the course.
To be eligible for this program, the student must be a certified nurse's aide (CNA) on the state registry. The facility employing the student must write a letter of sponsorship. The CNA must be employed by the sponsoring facility for 6 months or more.
