The Radiologic Technology program is a two-year (eight-term) comprehensive program consisting of general studies, radiologic courses, and clinical experience. The classroom courses are taught at the IHCC campus in Ottumwa, and clinical experience is obtained at various approved clinical sites. More than 65% of your education will be provided in hospital or clinic radiology departments to assure hands-on experience.
Radiologic Technology Program philosophy
Students in the Radiologic Technology program will be required to have a Dependent Adult Abuse, Child Abuse and Criminal Background check prior to beginning the clinical/practicum portion of the program.
