Therapeutic Massage Program

The Therapeutic Massage program prepares you with a strong foundation for a career in therapeutic massage. This is a branch of complementary health care that works to improve a person's health and well-being through hands-on manipulation of muscles and other soft tissues of the body.

As a massage therapist, you can work in medical, spa and health club settings, as well as in private practice and owning your own business.

Upon successful completion of the classroom, lab and clinical portions of the program, you'll receive a diploma in therapeutic massage and be eligible to take the National Certification Examination in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

To apply for the program, complete an IHCC application, submit your high school transcripts or GED scores, and take the COMPASS or ACT test. The program begins in the Fall term of each year.

For more information about the Therapeutic Massage program, contact Penny Warren at 641.683.5292 or 800.726.2585, ext. 5292.
