Real Estate Focus Area

The real estate emphasis is for those contemplating a career in real estate investment, property management, mortgage banking, or related fields. You'll build foundation for transfer to a four-year college for a bachelor's degree in real estate or a related business major. You'll also be prepared for an entry-level job in real estate sales and management.

Preparation for IHCC

You should have sound writing and critical reading skills, and a strong mathematics background.

Since the bachelor's degree requirements of various schools differ, you are strongly advised to familiarize yourself with the requirements of the program at the institution to which you plan to transfer. Consult with an advisor at the transfer institution and with an IHCC academic counselor to plan a program that meets those requirements.
