Public Relations/Organizational Communications is an interdisciplinary field where career opportunities exist in both the business and non-profit sectors. Public relations or organizational communication specialists provide both internal and external communication for the business/organization they represent and therefore need to have a strong understanding of the relationship between communication, business, and media.
Career possibilities include: public relations, corporate communications, image consulting, graphic design, media relations, promotions/sales, advertising, publicity, fund raising, publications/editing, technical writing, marketing, or management.
