Sustainable Agriculture & Entrepreneurship

Length: 7 terms (21 months)
Degree: Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.)

The Sustainable Agriculture/Entrepreneurship program is designed to provide area landowners, farmers, and young adults with access to land the entrepreneurial skills necessary to start a new or further develop an existing land-based business. You can pursue an Associate in Applied Science degree or limit your coursework to particular areas of interest.

Many people who pursue the A.A.S. degree or certificate in Sustainable Agriculture/Entrepreneurship plan to apply these skills to their own agriculture business or work for an agriculture-related business. Others will choose to continue their education by transferring to a four-year college or university.
