FAMILY LITERACY PROGRAMS

The family is invited to learn together in this classroom
setting. The class will
focus on reading and writing skills while encouraging the idea that the
family can learn and develop educational proficiencies together.
LITERACY

This course is designed as a tutorial program and is aimed toward
students with a low reading ability.
EMPLOYMENT & LIFE SKILLS
ó
A course designed to enhance the skills necessary to successfully
live in today’s society and work environment.
INTRODUCTION TO COLLEGE
ó
This class will teach the student basic computer and study
skills. In addition, the
instructor will assist in filling out such college-bound forms as:
financial aid and college applications.
POST HIGH SCHOOL REFRESHER
ó
This program allows the student to rejuvenate previously
learned skills. This
education will cover basic High School level schooling and is intended
for college preparation or employment.
