Indian Hills Community College (IHCC) is proud of its recognition as a leader in education and will continue to work hard to justify this reputation.
IHCC is a two-year, public community college with a student population of more than 3,700. It is a multi-campus setting with campuses located in Ottumwa and Centerville, Iowa. The average class size at IHCC ranges from 30 to 60 students. Students are provided the opportunity to know their instructors and classmates on an individual basis.
Students may earn an Associate in Applied Science degree in many technical program, or an Associate in Art or Associate in Science in our Arts & Sciences program. IHCC is fully accredited and college credits from Indian Hills are transferable to four-year colleges and universities to earn an advanced degree.
Thank you for your interest in admission to Indian Hills Community College. Instructions for completing the necessary forms follow. All items on the Admission Requirements Checklist (a pdf form) must be received before your application will be considered. Once your application is complete, your file will be reviewed for approval. Careful attention must be given to the completion of all appropriate documents, as incomplete or improperly completed items will result in a delay in processing your application.
International students (F-1 visas) are required by U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Services regulations to study full-time (8 credits or more per term at IHCC).
