Financing Your Education

Most Indian Hills students receive some form of financial assistance. The Indian Hills Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships each year. There are many other types of scholarships and assistance available, as well, including the Community–Based Job Training Program, Veterans Affairs Education Benefit Programs, and the Indian Hills Work Study Program. Online Learning Options

Indian Hills Community College has a robust Online Learning Program. More than 250 online courses are offered in subjects related to arts and sciences, advanced technologies, and health occupations, with new courses being developed each term. Academic and Student Services

Assistance is available to all Indian Hills students in the form of academic advising and counseling, tutoring, skill–building courses, disability services, and much more. Educational Opportunity Center (EOC)
The Educational Opportunity Center helps lower–income, first–generation college students with financial aid and admission applications as well as academic and career advising. (The EOC is a TRIO program).

Accuplacer Testing

All prospective students in specific Health Sciences programs (Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Dental Assisting, Early Childhood Education, Emergency Medical Services, Health Informatics, Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Pharmacy Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiologic Technology, Surgical Technology, and Therapeutic Massage) are required to take the ACT or Accuplacer test and earn a minimum score on the test. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance into a program.
