Community-Based Job Training Program
Indian Hills has expanded five of its advanced manufacturing programs to better meet your needs. These programs were previously offered either only during the day or only during evening hours. Now, students can take courses in any of these programs during the day or evening, as needed.
- Electronic Engineering Technology
- Industrial Maintenance
- Machine Technology
- Robotics/Automation Technology
- Welding Occupations
Full-Tuition Scholarships
Thanks to a new grant opportunity at Indian Hills, you could be eligible for one of 50 full-tuition scholarships for the 2010-2011 academic year. These scholarships will cover in-state tuition, books, and fees for one year. To be considered, a student must take one of the above programs in its new time slot. Students in the Industrial Maintenance or Welding day programs, and students in the Electronic Engineering Technology, Machine Technology, or Robotics/Automation Technology evening programs are eligible for these new scholarships.
To apply, please complete the Community-Based Job Training Program Scholarship Application Then, mail it to the address provided on the form. Next, please complete the online FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Your FAFSA score will not be used to determine eligibility for this scholarship. However, if you receive an additional federal or state award through the FAFSA, it will be applied to your student account before the Community-Based Job Training Program award, allowing us to stretch this money to help as many students as possible. Priority will be given to scholarship applications received by April 5, 2010.
