Construction Trades is a diploma program where you will receive hands–on training in safety, blueprint reading, framing, drywall installation, trim and interior finish work, window and door installation, and building materials. These skills will prepare you to get an apprenticeship in a union or merit shop program, work in a maintenance department, or work in various specialty trades. After completing your first year in Construction Trades, you may choose to take courses from the Construction Management or Construction Technology programs to gain further skills in your second year. NOTE: Can only be taken in Centerville.
