Computer Software Development
The Computer Software Development program is designed to prepare you to thrive in the field of information technology (IT). The industry–experienced instructors at Indian Hills provide hands–on training in subjects including computer languages, web design, database design, business systems, and interpersonal skills. Students who enjoy problem solving and working in a professional environment tend to excel in this program. In addition to completing a set of core courses that will prepare you to acquire an IT position, you will also have the opportunity to choose from three areas of emphasis as part of your degree program: Business Analysis, Web Development, or Mainframe Programming. Each student must complete one area of emphasis, but is free to explore more, if desired.
Internship opportunites are also an important aspect of our curriculum. Feel free to contact us (see below) for more information.
Our graduates may pursue careers in a wide variety of IT disciplines offering opportunities for great salaries and career advancement, including database administration, software development, web development, mainframe programming, business analysis, project management, and quality assurance.
