What is “Ag”?

Does agriculture just mean farming? Not necessarily. Agriculture, or “Ag,” at Indian Hills includes a wide variety of interesting and meaningful careers — everything from working with plants (such as flowers, turfgrass, trees, and shrubs) to raising cattle and horses. Even culinary arts are part of the process, as we use agricultural products to prepare professional–quality meals.

What can you do with this degree?

Depending on which program option you choose, you will have the skills necessary to work for an agriculture–related business. The possibilities range from developing a new or existing land–based business to landscape and lawn care or working on a vineyard.
