Associate Degree Nursing
The Associate Degree Nursing program builds on the knowledge and skills gained during Level I (Practical Nursing) and focuses on critical thinking, leadership and advanced nursing skills that are required to manage an acute care clinical area and care for individuals, families or communities with complex health care needs. You will receive hands-on training in the classroom and at supervised clinical experiences. After program completion, you will be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-PN) and be qualified to work as a licensed practical nurse or a registered nurse.

Susan Turner
A nurse with the River Hills Community Health Center in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Susan Turner says, “I love my job — especially being able to work with great people, doing something we all believe in. I've seen firsthand that Indian Hills really prepares students to go out on their own and pursue a high quality career.”
