The Medical/Insurance Coding program prepares you to work as an entry–level medical or insurance coder in a hospital, physician's office, clinic or health maintenance organization. After graduation, you will be qualified as an entry–level medical/insurance coder, be able to communicate effectively with clients, family and health care team members, and know how to adhere to ethical and legal principles in relation to standards of practice. Positions are available as insurance coding technicians at medical offices, hospitals, and medical facilities.
