The teams had to use Cornish hens as the protein, which was provided for them from the Culinary Arts department. They had to use squash in their menu and also had to be a Fall theme in all of their courses.
The schools that participated were Ottumwa, Eddyville/Blakesburg, Mt. Pleasant, Pekin, Ft. Madison, Central Lee, and Burlington.
Ft. Madison got 1st, Burlington ended up with 2nd place and Mt. Pleasant rounded it out with 3rd.
