If there is one positive that has come out of COVID-19, it is that higher education has had to grow and evolve quicker than ever before to meet the demands of small group and virtual learning brought on by the pandemic. In an effort to ensure that community college faculty have the knowledge and tools needed to best educate students regardless of face-to-face or virtual instruction, the 15 Iowa Community College Districts collaborated with the Iowa Association of Community College Trustees (IACCT) to establish the Iowa Faculty Development Consortium.

Luke Jackson, our student working at Pebble Beach Golf Club this summer as an intern for the US Open to be held in June. He is working with the grounds crew to prepare the golf course for this PGA event.
Indian Hills Community College Performing Arts students recently received awards at the annual Cake on an Empty Stage Ceremony held in St. John Auditorium. The event takes place every Spring.
The Educational Opportunity Center puts together supply bags to give to needy students. The little black bags contain some of the supplies essential for classes including a two or four-subject notebooks, highlighters, pens, pencils, a lanyard, post-it notes, index cards, and a thumb drive.
