FOUNDATION PRIZE RAFFLE

In addition to the Scholarship Auction the Foundation will also be holding a prize raffle this year! There will be a total of five prizes being raffled off, and winners will be announced on Saturday April 29th, at the Auction! Online ticket sales will close at noon on Thursday April 27th, and you do not need to be present at the time of the drawing to be eligible to win. For the full list of items included in the raffle, see below.

1. The GoPro HERO5 Session 10MP

Go Pro

In the Box: GoPro HERO5 Session, Standard Frame, Mounting Buckle, Curved Adhesive Mount, Flat Adhesive Mount, USB Cable
The GoPro HERO5 Session action camera more than makes up for it in functionality and features. Retaining the familiar ice-cube-sized form factor of the previous generation HERO Session, the HERO5 Session ups the ante in a major way. UHD 4K video at 30fps and 1080p video at 90fps in addition to 10MP photos at bursts of up to 30fps are all packed inside the diminutive rectangular prism of a camera. The camera body itself is waterproof to depths of 33' and is shock-resistant, so even without a protective housing, the HERO5 Session can take a licking. While more functionality has been integrated, the HERO5 Session is still easy to use.
The one-button interface, featured on the previous generation HERO Session, will be instantly familiar for accessing menu functions. If the camera is off, pressing the record button will power it on and immediately start recording. Hands-free control is also possible using the built-in Voice Control feature or the free mobile app. Speaking simple voice commands can control various functions inside the camera, including start/stop video recording, photo burst, and more.

Kit Includes:

• GoPro HERO5 Session
• SanDisk 32GB Ultra Memory Card
• Medium Hard Case
• Chest Strap
• Head Strap
• Adjustable Handle Bar
• Extendable Monopod
• J-Hook Buckle Mount

CELEBRITY NIGHT

Please mark your calendars for the 36th Annual Celebrity Night on Saturday, October 21, 2017. We are excited to announce that our featured Speaker will be Iowa Native, Chris Norton.

Chris Norton suffered a severe spinal cord injury playing college football and was told he would never walk again. He defeated all odds and walked across the stage of his college graduation which has been viewed over 300 million times across the world.

Chris calls us to focus on response, instead of situation…to be defined by attitude rather than circumstance. He shares a compelling story filled with laughs, tears and life changing moments that give audiences hope and a new perspective. He demonstrates how attitude, effort and purpose can navigate the most challenging obstacles.

Chris calls us to recognize the great power within us all.

All proceeds go towards IHCC Student Scholarships.
