Question:

What are the requirements for admission?

Answer:

2017-18 Requirements:

High school and college transcripts with minimum 2.5 GPA from either high school or college, ACT of 20+ or Accuplacer:  98 sentence skill, 96 reading and 93 arithmetic.  40 observation hours.

Question:

Will my classes transfer?

Answer:

Typically, general education courses transfer, but that is determined by the Registrar once you are accepted.  Transfer of PTA courses is determined by the Program Director and requires that you submit an official course syllabus, class schedule and grading scale along with a transcript to the Program Director.

Question:

If I have all my general education classes completed, can I graduate in less than 7 terms?

Answer:

No, because PTA courses must be taken in sequence and therefore you would be part –time instead of full-time, but it would still take 7 terms.

Question:

How many days per week would I have to be on campus if I already took my general education classes?

Answer:

Generally, you would be here 2 days per week for classes, but when you are in clinical it would be an additional day for integrated clinics or 40 hours per week for full time clinicals.
