What is the salary for a Phlebotomist?

Answer:

The average clinical lab assistant makes $11.00 per hour.

 

Question:

Is it hard to get a job once I am done with school?

Answer:

No, most of the hospitals in our 10 county region have 1-2 positions available.

 

Question:

Can I further my education in this field?

Answer:

Yes, once you have completed the Phlebotomy Technician program you can bridge into the Clinical Lab Assistant or Medical Lab Tech program. The CLA program is 9 months in length and you will receive a diploma. The MLT program is a two-year program and you earn an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.
