Answer:

The average Medical Lab Technician makes $18.00 per hour.

 

Question:

Is it hard to get a job once I am done with school?

Answer:

No, most of the hospitals in our 10 county region have 1-2 positions available. In addition, a lot of baby boomers will be retiring in the next 5 years, opening up even more jobs.

 

Question:

Can I further my education in this field?

Answer:

Yes, we have articulation agreements with Allen College in Waterloo and Austin Peay State University for students to obtain a bachelor’s degree in medical lab science.
