Will the business courses that I take in this program from Indian Hills transfer to a 4-year university?


Answer:

Your A.A. degree will transfer. Each 4-year institution has varying requirements for business core courses. You should contact the business program coordinator at the university(ies) you are thinking of transferring to as early as possible to ensure you are making good choices in scheduling your courses.

 

Question:

What are the potential rewards of being an entrepreneur?


Answer:

There are many potential rewards. Successful entrepreneurs have listed rewards such as being your own boss, the satisfaction of being able to supply jobs for others, and the ability to channel creative ideas into something customers will pay money for.

 

Question:

Are there risks involved in becoming an entrepreneur?

Answer:

Yes, there are risks to just about everything. There will be sacrifices, such as less time for personal and family activities (at least in the beginning), and financial risks. Your business courses will help you understand the risks and rewards involved in starting your own business.
