Answer:

Yes, Accounting classes must be taken in the second year for transfer to most colleges or universities.

Will I need certifications or licensures in addition to an accounting degree?

Answer:

Some careers in Accounting, such as CPA or CMA, will require successful completion of the CPA certification exam.

What do accountants do?

Answer:

The primary duty of an accountant is to prepare financial records and ensure that they are correct. In addition, duties may include preparing tax returns, preparing financial reports for upper management, making recommendations for decreasing expenses.
